September 2, 2026. Special recognition for Frostblüten — and four weeks before publication!

I’m thrilled to share that Frostblüten has been selected for the democracy recommendation list of the German Academy for Children’s and Young Adult Literature and the Landesfachstelle für Büchereien und Bildung at Sankt Michaelsbund. The list’s official title is “For Democracy, Freedom, and Peaceful Coexistence.” I love those words! I’m especially pleased that Frostblüten was included even before its publication.
